刷毛を引いて反物を染める日本の伝統的な染色技法［引き染め］。豊富な経験と染料に関する知識が必要とされる技法です。1足のスニーカーの中に表現された［日本の美意識］を味わっていただくことがこちらのアイテムのコンセプト。
キャンバスを反物からスニーカーのアッパーに移し、SUNSET CRAFTSMAN CO.の手仕事により［ぼかし］の絶妙な濃淡を表現しております。
- SHELLCAP LOW HIKI Hand Dyed -
［Hiki-zome］ is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique in which a brush is used to dye piece goods(of Kimono), that requires a wealth of experience and knowledge of dyes. This item is based on the concept of "Japanese aesthetics" expressed in a single pair of sneakers. This item is based on the concept of "Japanese aesthetics" expressed in a single pair of sneakers.
The place of depiction is changed from the piece goods(of Kimono) to the sneakers upper, and the exquisite shading of "Bokashi(Blur)" is expressed by the handwork of SUNSET CRAFTSMAN CO.
■染めモデルのアテンション
・摩擦や、汗、雨などで濡れることで色落ちする可能性があります。
・着用や洗濯の繰り返しで徐々に色落ちし、白っぽくなります。
・ボトムスの裾やソックスなどへの色移りにご注意ください。
・直射日光にあたった部分が退色して日焼けのように変化する場合がありますで、長時間放置しないでください。

・The discoloration may occur by rubbing, sweat or rain.
・The color may fade gradually after washing or usage
・Please be noted that the color may transfer/fade by rubbing to socks or hem of trousers
・Exposing to direct sunlight may cause the fading or change in color. Please do not leave for many hours

”シェルキャップ”とは、トゥーキャップの貝殻モチーフのことを指します。
Launched at the time of brand establishment, the signature series of the vulcanized sneakers by MoonStar from Kurume.
"SHELLCAP" comes from the shell-motif of the toe cap.
[児島帆布]と銘打ったアッパーのファブリックは、糸、撚り、タテ糸の構成にこだわり、スニーカーに適したオンスを独自に調整、開発した、PRASオリジナルの生地。
綿カスや程よいムラ感など、綿そのものの自然な風合いが特徴です。
The fabric of the upper, named [Kojima Hanpu], is a PRAS original fabric, which is particular about the composition of the thread, twist and warp, and has been developed and adjusted to a suitable ounce for trainers.
It is characterised by the natural texture of the cotton itself, such as cotton waste and a good degree of irregularity.
その生地を使用し、久留米ムーンスター社にて職人による手張り後、バルカナイズド製法で仕上げられた一足です。
This fabric is used, and the pair is finished in the vulcanized method after being hand-applying by craftsmen at the Kurume Moonstar company.
■サイズ感のご注意
日本人の足の特性を考慮し日本製のラスト（アルミ型）を使用している為、欧米製の製品よりも若干（0.5cm〜1cm程) 大きく感じられます。
例：
コンバースやバンズなどのアメリカ企画のスニーカーと比較して、メンズサイズ US10 JP28cm を履いている方で27.5cm程度が丁度良いサイズ感となります。
レディースサイズだと、US7 JP24cmを履いている方で23cm程度が丁度良いサイズ感だと思われます。
※サイズの感じ方は、着用される方の足の形(足の幅や甲の高さ)によっても異なります。
■Size Guide
The last (alminium mould) is made in Japan to fit the shape of the Japanease peaple's feet with wide and high instep, so it may makes you feel slightly (about 0.5 - 1cm) larger than products made in Europe and the USA.

Men's: US 10 / JAPAN 28cm > PRAS SHELLCAP Series 27.5 cm
Women's: US７ / JAPAN 24 cm > PRAS SHELLCAP Series 23 cm
*How you feel the size depends on the shape of wearer's foot.
